Sweet Bones Company

Sweet Bones is a vegan café and bakery in Braddon, Canberra, Australia. Owners Emily and Russell Brindley have a passion for no frills whole foods. The café has a rustic, rock’n’roll feeing with a friendly local vibe. The food is inventive, cruelty free and most of all delicious. We source as much local and organic ingredients as possible and most items can be made gluten free.

Due to how busy it can get, we don’t take reservations. There is also a 10% surcharge on Sunday which goes directly to our staff.

Bacon Cheeze Burger $16.50 GF option available

Our marinated tofu patty with house made smokey coconut bacon, cheddar like cheeze, lettuce, tomato and onion on a Turkish roll with ketchup served with a side salad and pickles.

Breakfast Burger $16.50 GF option available

Our tofu scramble with lettuce, tomato, onion, Tabasco sauce, ketchup and hummus with our home made smokey coconut bacon on a Turkish roll.

The Fun-Guy Burger $16.50 contains nuts, GF option available

Marinated beefy portabella mushroom, hummus, roasted red peppers, sprouts and carrots with our cashew tamari dressing on a Turkish roll.

Veggie Stack $16.50 GF, contains nuts

Marinated beefy portabella mushroom, stacked with roasted red peppers, garlic roasted pumpkin, eggplant and almond ricotta topped with sprouts and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Served cold.

Wildwood Salad $15 GF

Mixed greens, roasted red peppers, carrots, beetroot, sprouts and spiced seeds tossed in Rusty’s tahini dressing.

Nuts about Quinoa $15 GF, contains nuts

A Nutty quinoa served with mixed greens, toasted almonds, roasted red capsicums, marinated Tempeh, almond ricotta and a balsamic vinaigrette.
